SHIRLEY'S HEART. A mid-early tomato variety with a shape resembling a slightly flattened heart. The plant is sturdy, reaching up to 1.6 meters tall, producing 2-4 fruits per cluster weighing between 250 and 400 grams. The fruit shape varies from heart-shaped and slightly flattened to round with a small nose. The fruits are red with a raspberry hue, dense, attractive, and well-formed.
This is a medium-sized, mid-season, and very productive variety. The fruits have a smooth, beautiful heart shape, free of defects, weighing up to 400 grams. They are pink, meaty, very sweet, and have few seeds. It stands out for its high yield and simultaneous fruit ripening.
Usually, about 10 tomatoes form per cluster. The variety has been updated based on old archival types. Shirley is a female name. When cut open, the fruits have very aromatic and dense flesh, almost solid, with small seed cavities. The taste is excellent — sweet and meaty!
