SIBERIAN TIGER CLAWS. A modern tomato variety of American selection (Frogsleap Farm, breeder Mark McCaslin), developed through a complex cross between “OSU” and “Beauty King.” It is a selection from the popular “Siberian Tiger” variety. The plant is tall and mid-season, forming a strong, dense bush with abundant dark green foliage. In open ground, it reaches heights of over 1.5 m, while in greenhouses the plants can grow even taller.
Fruits are blue-red (depending on conditions, they may show an intense striped pattern). The variety is highly resistant to diseases and shows excellent adaptability to different climates. Productivity is very high: plants produce large clusters, each setting up to 12 fruits. Average fruit weight is 150-200 g. Tomatoes are fleshy, firm, yet juicy and fragrant. Their flavor is exceptional – rich, with pronounced sweetness and a deep tomato aroma.
Market qualities of the fruits are also excellent: they have an attractive appearance, are resistant to cracking, and transport well. The variety is versatile in use: ideal for fresh consumption, as well as for making juices, sauces, and other homemade preserves. The plant requires pruning and staking. Distinguished by stable yields and reliable fruit setting. A “super variety” that combines ornamental value, resistance, and outstanding taste.
