SIEGEL'S DARK STRIPES. A mid-early bicolor tomato of rare beauty! It looks as if brush strokes painted stripes on the fruit surface. The plant is strong, about 0.9 m tall in open ground, with 4–5 fruits per cluster weighing 200–250 grams each. Yield is average or slightly above average. The fruit shape is round-flattened.

The color is purple with frequent green stripes running from the top to the bottom. The fruits are very bright and glossy. The flesh is two-toned: chocolate with a red heart-shaped center, containing many seed chambers, with a rich aroma and sweet taste. The skin is firm, and the fruits keep well. Highest marks for beauty!

Varietal mix-up: unfortunately, in some cases, the seeds you receive may contain a mix-up — when a different variety is sent instead of the one you ordered. If this happens, please let us know right away. To help us resolve the issue, provide the following details:

  • the name of the variety you ordered and which one you received instead;

  • the approximate date of purchase (month and year);

  • how exactly the variety differs.

Please note: if the mix-up is due to the variety's instability or natural segregation (especially with rare blue or variegated types), we cannot influence that. These are the results of the breeders’ work, and such cases can occur.

If the error is on our part, we will gladly offer a replacement or refund for the specific variety. Replacements are available within 6 months from the date of purchase.
