SLEEPING GIANT. This variety is an off-type selection of “Sleeping Lady”: unlike the original variety, the plants are tall, strong, with a large canopy and consistent mid-season yield. A tall, mid-season variety, the plants reach a height of 1.5-1.7 m in open ground. Bushes are robust, with strong, healthy structure and vigorous growth. Leaves are narrow, typical of indeterminate varieties.
Fruits are large, weighing 250-600 g, meaty, firm, with an excellent balanced flavor. Fruit color is raspberry-red, with variable shapes: round-heart-shaped, sometimes boat-shaped with curved shoulders. Flesh is dense, juicy, and aromatic — ideal for fresh consumption, salads, and juices. The variety is characterized by stable yields and excellent flavor qualities.
