STARFIRE SHIMMER. A mid-season, tall, productive variety. In open ground, the plant height reaches about 1.5 m. The bush is indeterminate, requiring staking and training, distinguished by stable fruit set and abundant fruiting. The color is pink-red with anthocyanin dusting spreading over the entire surface of the fruit; near the stem, the anthocyanin is particularly pronounced, almost black.
The fruits weigh 50-110 g, are plum-pear shaped. The appearance is contrasting and decorative. In cross-section, the flesh is red, sweet, with a pronounced tomato aroma. The structure is tender, yet the tomato does not "run," the skin is dense but not coarse. The fruits hold well on the bush, do not fall off, and retain their quality for a long time. The variety is suitable for fresh consumption and processing.
