STEPHANIA. Mid-season large pink beefsteak. Strong bush, 1.4 m tall in open ground. Each cluster bears 4-5 fruits weighing 300-400 grams, yield is above average. Fruits have a correct, beautiful round-flattened shape, without cracks. Color — delicate pink.
Inside — raspberry-colored flesh with small seed chambers. Taste — excellent, rich sweet flavor with slight acidity, very delicious. Perfect for salads, fresh consumption, sometimes for juices and sauces. Top marks for beauty and taste!
PINK VARIETIES
The flavor is usually sweeter and richer compared to red varieties. The flesh is dense, juicy, and meaty. The skin is more tender and thinner than that of red tomatoes (may be less transport-resistant). Many pink varieties require more attention — regular pruning, tying, and protection against late blight. Many of them are large-fruited.
- Pink Giant. Very large fruits (up to 600 g and more). Sugary, juicy flesh. Perfect for fresh salads. Tall-growing (indeterminate).
- Grandma’s Secret. Large pink-raspberry fruits. Tender, sweet flesh. Excellent shelf life. Disease resistance.
- Pink Honey. Heart-shaped fruits, up to 1 kg. Very sweet and meaty. Tender skin. Requires tying due to the weight of the fruits.
- De Barao Pink. Small plum-shaped tomatoes. Very productive variety. Suitable for canning and fresh eating. Tolerates shade well.
- Mystery of Nature. Large yellow-pink fruits. Tender flavor with fruity notes. Grows well in greenhouses and open ground.
- Abakan Pink. Heart-shaped fruits up to 500 g. Sugary flesh without pronounced acidity. Easy to grow.
- Cardinal. Large, dense fruits. Very aromatic. High yield. Requires bush shaping.
