SUMMER OF LOVE. A mid-season, high-yielding variety bred by Brad Gates. It is an improved version of the famous Berkley Tie-Dye and stands out with earlier ripening and higher productivity. Plants are vigorous and tall, reaching over 1.5 meters in open ground. The variety is indeterminate, requires staking and pruning. It tolerates temperature fluctuations well, is resistant to major tomato diseases, and continues producing fruits until frost. The fruits are large, meaty, multi-chambered, with thick, dense walls. Average fruit weight ranges from 150 to 400 grams.
When cut, they look especially decorative: the flesh is marbled in red, yellow, and green shades, making each tomato unique and attractive. The flavor is rich and sweet, with a fruity note and pleasant acidity. Taste rating — 5 out of 5. The aroma is bright, reminiscent of the original Berkley Tie-Dye, but even more balanced. The variety is versatile: excellent for fresh eating, salads, sauces, juices, and pastes. Thanks to their striking color and firm flesh, the fruits look spectacular in slices and gourmet dishes.
