SUNRISE JAZZ, RAINBOW JAZZ, USA. Author - Fred Hempel. Medium-early variety - a new release. A very beautiful bicolor!!! Exquisite lines, bright colors, very sweet fruits, high yield. The bush is 1.3 meters tall, with strong stems, each cluster holding 3-5 fruits weighing 250-350 grams. Shape - flat-round with frequent ribs at the base, color - red with orange stripes across the fruit from the stem to the top.
Flesh - bright bicolor, oily, fragrant, juicy. One of the most delicious and sweetest varieties in my collection! The seeds of Sunrise Jazz were obtained from the USA, and Fred Hempel specifically developed Sunrise Jazz. The seeds of Rainbow Jazz came from France, where, as it turned out, they were mistakenly given a non-existent name. They were sourced from different locations but ended up being the same variety.
FRUITS AND YIELD
Another super variety, one of the hits of the 2019 season. Medium-ripening, tall, high-yielding variety with increased disease resistance. Very dense, strong bushes, with regular foliage, covered with garlands of beautiful fruits, and continuous fruiting. Limitlessly productive.
The fruits are large, ribbed, red-orange, dense, crack-resistant, and rot-resistant. Meaty, juicy, sweet, with marbled, pink-orange flesh. This tomato scored the highest marks in all categories. Highest score for beauty! Highest score for taste! Highly recommended!
AGROTECHNICS OF SUNRISE JAZZ:
Tomatoes with variegated (bicolor) coloring have two different colors on the fruit, making them visually appealing and appetizing. Here's a guide to growing variegated (bicolor) tomatoes:
-
Choosing a variety. Select a tomato variety with variegated (bicolor) coloring. Popular varieties include "Pineapple," "Zebra," "Tigerella," and others.
-
Preparing seeds or seedlings. If using seeds, start sowing them in containers or trays with a suitable soil substrate 6-8 weeks before the last frost. If you prefer seedlings, buy them from a reliable supplier or grow them yourself.
-
Transplanting seedlings into the ground. Transplant seedlings into the open ground after the threat of frost has passed and the soil has warmed. Space the plants about 60-90 cm apart, depending on the variety's size.
-
Caring for tomatoes. Water regularly, ensuring moderate soil moisture. Fertilize plants with organic or mineral fertilizers according to recommendations. Support the plants with stakes to prevent twisting and fruit damage.
-
Dealing with diseases and pests. Regularly check plants for signs of disease or pests. Use organic or chemical treatments if problems arise.
-
Harvesting. Harvest the fruits when they reach optimal ripeness and the color corresponding to the variety.
