SVETLANA’S HEART. Is a mid-season variety with large fruits of a beautiful, slightly flattened heart shape. The plant is vigorous and indeterminate, reaching approximately 2 m in height when grown outdoors, with long, broad leaves. The fruits are mostly broad-heart shaped, with gently defined, slightly puffy shoulders, and develop a warm honey-yellow color as they ripen. The average fruit weight is 300–400 g. The plant carries a good crop load and therefore requires staking and training.
The flesh is dense, buttery and juicy at the same time, with plenty of flesh and a small number of small seed chambers. There are very few seeds. The flavor is sweet and rich, with a slight acidity that nicely balances the sweetness. The fruits are aromatic, tender and pleasant for fresh eating, salads and slicing. The yield is above average.
