SWEET AS LINDA. A modern variety by American breeder Millard Murdock, who crossed two well-known forms: Marianna's Peace and Sungold F1. The variety combines the best parental qualities and possesses outstanding characteristics. The plant has unlimited growth and is distinguished by powerful and magnificent development. At the same time, the bush grows to 1.5-1.6 m in height and has sparse, so-called potato foliage.
The structure allows the bush to ventilate better and receive more sunlight, which reduces the risk of diseases and simplifies the care of the plantings. In terms of ripening time, the variety is mid-early, which allows obtaining abundant and friendly harvests already at the beginning of the season. Its yield deserves the highest rating — it is indeed a super-yielding tomato. The plant's clusters are complex and powerful, in each of which up to 25 or more fruits can set.
FRUITS AND TASTE
The fruits belong to the large cherry category. They are perfectly round, smooth, and surprisingly uniform in size, of a saturated pink color. The weight of each tomato varies from 15 to 30 grams. The main advantage of the fruits is their exceptional taste. The flesh is very sweet, juicy, with a harmonious and mild flavor without acidity, which can be rated with the highest score. The consistency of the flesh is dense and elastic.
The fruits never crack right on the bush, and their skin is so strong that when biting into the tomato, it can "shoot" sweet juice to the side with a characteristic crunch. This same density ensures excellent keeping quality and transportability: the harvested crop can be stored for a long time without losing its taste and marketable qualities, and tolerates transportation excellently.
