THE EARLIEST. Is an early, tall-growing variety with a compact, non-aggressive plant that can reach about 2 m in height when grown outdoors. The plant does not take up much space, yet has strong stems and produces a good crop. The trusses are simple, with 6–7 fruits per truss, weighing approximately 23–25 g each. The fruits are round, smooth and free from noticeable defects or a tendency to crack. The coloration is unusual and multi-toned, so it is best appreciated from photographs. The yield is high, with abundant fruit production.
When cut, the flesh is uniform red-chocolate in color, juicy, with 3–4 seed chambers and plenty of juice. The texture is pleasant without being excessively watery. The flavor is rich and sweet, with light spicy notes and a pronounced tomato aroma. The fruits are well suited for fresh eating, salads, slicing and whole-fruit preserves.
