TAYMYR. Is an ultra-early standard dwarf tomato variety developed to produce the earliest possible harvest even under unfavorable weather conditions. The plants are low-growing and compact, self-forming, and typically grown with 1–2 stems without the need for pruning or suckering. Thanks to the strong standard stem, the plant maintains a neat and tidy shape throughout the entire season. The fruits are round, deep red in color, with an average weight of about 70–80 g. The variety is distinguished by increased cold tolerance and the ability to continue growing and fruiting even after exposure to frost.
This trait makes Taymyr especially valuable for regions with cool climates, sharp temperature fluctuations, and short summers. The plants resemble miniature “oak trees” — sturdy, stocky, with powerful foliage that confidently supports a heavy “cap” of fruits. The tomatoes are glossy, very firm, with a thick skin that ensures excellent transportability and makes them ideal for whole-fruit canning, pickling, and all types of processing.
Flavor quality for a standard dwarf variety is rated as excellent: the fruits are well-balanced, with a rich tomato taste and a pleasant sweet-and-sour note. Taymyr is a reliable, ultra-early variety suitable for open ground, container growing, and stable yields even in the most challenging weather conditions.
