TETON DE VENUS BEATRIX. Mid-early variety. Fruits — exceptionally beautiful pink hearts with an elongated tip, slightly flattened on the sides, heavy and powerful! Plant height is 1.2 meters, thin, with drooping leaves. Yet the fruits that ripen on this "fragility" are simply impressive. Not only does each cluster hold 2-3 large, refined hearts weighing 350-575 grams. But there are also a decent number of clusters on the plant, and it retains its fruit sets well.
Color — deep pink, shape — heart-shaped, some fruits are slightly flattened on the sides. Inside — sugary, watermelon-like flesh with very few seeds, practically all meat, as clearly shown in the photos. Flavor — extremely aromatic, well-balanced with a slight tanginess that does not spoil the overall impression of the variety. Suitable for open-field growing. Yield is above average. Top score for beauty!
EARLY TOMATOES
Early tomatoes are distinguished by their short ripening period, making them especially useful for regions with short summers or unstable climates. These varieties start bearing fruit just 85-100 days after germination. Main features of early tomatoes:
-
Rapid ripening — allows for an earlier harvest and helps avoid diseases typical for later varieties.
-
Plant compactness — early varieties often have a determinate (bushy) growth type, making them convenient for greenhouses and small plots.
-
Disease resistance — due to their fast ripening, early varieties are less prone to diseases that commonly affect tomatoes late in the season.
POPULAR VARIETIES:
-
Sanka — one of the most popular ultra-early varieties, with red fruits around 80 g, featuring good taste. Suitable for both greenhouse and open-field cultivation.
-
Beta — a compact, productive variety with small red fruits of pleasant sweet-sour taste.
-
Aphrodite F1 — an early hybrid with good disease resistance and excellent flavor quality.
-
Marisha — an early variety with red, juicy fruits, well-suited for transportation.
-
Polar Early — a variety for northern regions, cold-resistant and quickly ripening. Red fruits up to 100 g.
