TIRED SUN. A rare Ukrainian variety with a poetic name. However, in terms of its growth energy and fruit weight, it is rather the "indefatigable sun" — a powerful giant among yellow-fruited tomatoes. The plant is indeterminate, tall, with strong development and a regular leaf type. The bush requires staking to a strong support. The variety is mid-season, fruiting is abundant but may occur in waves. The fruits are large, beefsteak type, usually weighing 300-500 g, with good agricultural practices 700-750 g. The shape is round-flattened, with slight ribbing in the upper part and smooth rounded shoulders.
The coloration is impressive: a yellow-orange base with a pink-red blush on the top at full ripeness. The flesh is rich yellow, meaty, juicy, with pink streaks in the center — the cut looks very striking and decorative. The taste is mild, delicate, sweetish, with a light refreshing acidity. The flesh is tender, juicy, typical of large yellow beefsteaks. This is a combination of large fruit size, generous yield, and bright sunny coloration. A true yellow giant of Ukrainian breeding that will adorn any collection of rare varieties.
