UKRAINIAN VINING. A mid-season variety about 1.2 m high, bred by a Yalta amateur breeder. The plant is vigorous, requiring staking and training. Suitable for growing in open ground and greenhouses, it is characterized by stable yield. The fruits are large, weighing 300-400 g, pink, beefsteak type, flat-round in shape with noticeable ribbing. The color is delicate pink. The flesh is juicy, meaty, with a large number of small seed chambers, reminiscent in structure of varieties like "Oxheart." The taste is rich, sweet, with a slight tartness, highly rated for fresh consumption and salads.
