VARIEGATED DRAGON. A new introduction from 2019, about whose origin there is still practically no reliable information. The variety remains mysterious, which only increases interest in it among collectors. The plant is tall, reaching 1.5-1.7 m in height. The main feature is the variegated foliage and stems with a marbled pattern, thanks to which the bush looks decorative already at the growth stage. Even without fruit, the plant attracts attention. The fruits are bicolored, weighing 100-300 g, very beautiful in shape — most often round-heart-shaped, but round-flattened variations are also found.
The variety is mid-season. Each fruit can differ slightly, which gives the variety individuality. The flesh is dense and juicy, with small seed chambers containing only a few seeds. The texture is meaty, neat. The taste is sweet, harmonious, pleasant for fresh consumption. "Variegated Dragon" is a variety that combines the decorative appeal of the plant and the striking coloration of the fruits.
