VERY SWEET BLUES ORANGE. A variety bred by Sofia Saakova. An indeterminate, mid-season tomato with strong, well-leafed plants known for their resilience and high productivity. The plants produce stable yields even under unfavorable weather conditions and are suitable for both greenhouse and open-field cultivation. Fruits are borne in clusters of 5-7, with an average weight of 100-200 g. The main color is a soft yellow, richly accented with anthocyanin strokes and blush around the stem end, giving the tomatoes a distinctive “blues” appearance and making them a true highlight of any collection.
The fruits are neat and uniform, with excellent market appeal. The flesh is dense, meaty, bi-colored, with a pronounced fruity texture and a rich, pleasant aroma. The flavor is dessert-like and well balanced, featuring intense sweetness without any acidity. Seed cavities are very small and often almost absent — most of the fruit consists of firm, juicy, exceptionally sweet flesh. This variety is ideal for fresh eating, slicing, salads, and tastings, and is highly valued by collectors of rare and anthocyanin tomatoes for its original appearance and outstanding flavor qualities.
