VICTORIAN DWARF No.1. An old American heirloom that was especially popular in the 1960s. Mid-early variety with determinate growth. Very compact bushes with dense, lush foliage. The fruits are small to medium-sized, visually appealing, beefsteak-type, red in color, weighing 90–180 grams.
Suitable for growing in containers. Plant height ranges from 0.5 to 0.8 m, no pruning required. The flavor is sweet and aromatic with a mild tang. Fruits are round, slightly flattened at the ends, with gently ribbed shoulders resembling a beefsteak. The flesh is juicy, multi-chambered, with lots of gel and seeds.
The taste is rich and sweet with a pleasant hint of bitterness. The plant is extremely compact, has dense, consistent foliage, and grows steadily. High-yielding and starts fruiting early — around 65–70 days. Despite its small size, it produces well. A great choice for lovers of compact tomatoes.
