VINSON. A tall indeterminate mid-season tomato variety originating from the USA (state Virginia). It is distinguished by vigorous growth, high yield, and large fruits of excellent taste. Plants reach a height of 1.5-2 m, requiring mandatory staking and suckering. It performs best when grown in greenhouses with formation into 2-3 stems. The leaf is of the potato type, large, characteristic of classic meaty varieties. The bush is strong, holds a large harvest well, and fruits stably with good lighting and nutrition. Purpose: ideal for salads, fresh slicing, making juices, sauces, and home cooking.
The flesh is meaty, aromatic, with a minimal number of seeds. The fruits are large, flat-round, uniform, of a rich pink-crimson color, weighing 300-500 g, with individual specimens reaching 600 g. In cross-section, the flesh is sugary, dense, and at the same time juicy, with a pronounced tomato aroma. The flavor is very high — sweet, rich, harmonious, without wateriness or excessive acidity. The variety is characterized by good disease resistance, stable yield, and a preference for sunny locations. An excellent choice for connoisseurs of large pink tomatoes with sugary flesh.
