WHITE CHERRY TOMATO is a mid-season variety that produces beautiful heart-shaped yellow fruits. The bush grows up to 1.2 meters in open ground, with 3-5 fruits per cluster, each weighing 150-200 grams. The stems are strong and sturdy, and the yield is above average. The fruits are lemon-yellow in color, retaining this hue even when fully ripe. When cut, the flesh is the same yellow shade-aromatic, buttery, with small seed chambers.
This is an outstanding super-variety! A large-fruited, long-bearing, mid-season, and high-yield tomato. One of the most productive and disease-resistant varieties in our collection. In terms of disease resistance, it is one of the rare varieties that can be compared to "Green Giant." Both externally and internally, the fruit is light in color. Often, there's a pink blush on the top, and the flesh may also have a pink tint. Very meaty, fairly juicy, with excellent taste and a pleasant aroma.
In terms of flavor in 2022, it was perhaps the best among all light-fruited varieties. The taste is delicate and pleasant—sweet with a touch of acidity, melting in the mouth. The variety is known for its small, round fruits that are yellow-white or slightly creamy in color. They have a sweet flavor and are often used in salads, appetizers, and for canning. This variety is also well-suited for growing in gardens or on balconies, as its compact bushes don’t take up much space.
SIMILAR TOMATO VARIETIES:
Mid-season tomato varieties typically take 70–85 days from flowering to fruit maturity. Popular mid-season varieties include "Margarita," "Rio Grande," "Selection No. 9," "Monetka," "Tovarisch," and "Hercules." These are commonly chosen for garden cultivation due to their relatively quick fruiting, good flavor, and productivity. Among them, the WHITE CHERRY series—yellow heart—is particularly noteworthy. Advantages of Mid-Season Tomatoes:
-
Relatively short ripening period: They mature faster than late varieties, allowing for an earlier harvest.
-
Weather resilience: Often more resistant to changing weather conditions than early varieties.
-
Higher yield: Usually produce more abundant crops compared to early types.
-
Better taste: More time to develop sugars and flavor, resulting in a richer taste.
-
Variety: A wide selection of fruit sizes, shapes, and colors to suit different needs.
-
Versatile usage: Great for fresh consumption, sauces, pastes, salads, and other dishes.
-
Lower disease susceptibility: Generally more resistant to certain diseases than late varieties.
