WINTER HEART. An unusual late-ripening tomato variety. The plant forms a compact bush about 70 cm tall, so it does not take up much space in the garden and is relatively easy to care for. The main feature of the variety is the remarkable ability of its fruits to remain in good condition for a long time after harvesting.
The tomatoes have a beautiful rounded-heart shape and a delicate light-yellow color. The average fruit weight is approximately 200–250 g. The tomatoes look very attractive thanks to their unusual color and neat shape. However, the most interesting feature is not only their appearance but also their ability to gradually ripen during storage.
At the end of September, the fruits are recommended to be harvested and brought indoors for further ripening. Under suitable storage conditions, they can keep for up to seven months, gradually developing their characteristic flavor. The tomatoes become especially tasty in February, when most ordinary varieties have long finished their season.
For cultivation, it is best to choose a site with fertile, loose soil. Regular watering, timely feeding, and proper care will help the plants develop well and produce high-quality fruits. This variety will appeal to gardeners and collectors who appreciate rare tomatoes with a long storage life and the opportunity to enjoy their own harvest during winter.
