WOLVERINE. A 2017 variety from breeder Dean Slater. Created by crossing Reinhard Kraft’s tomato varieties, namely P 20 and Great White. Mid-season, indeterminate variety with anthocyanin. The plant is strong, with a sturdy dark-blue stem and leaves that also show a blue tint. Fruits are flat-round, yellow with anthocyanin shoulders, featuring an excellent very sweet taste with tropical notes. Juicy and meaty, weighing 150-250 g. An excellent high-yielding tomato variety with delicious fruits and increased disease resistance. A truly beautiful variety you won’t forget!
Descriptions of this variety vary: for some, the tomato was sweet, for others slightly sour. Possibly, different seeds were tested, because it’s hard to believe the variety itself could vary that much. A rare and stunningly beautiful new variety! 3-4 fruits per cluster, weighing up to 300 grams, with above-average yields. Fruits are bright and very attractive, flattened in shape. The base color is yellow, but the top is covered in a dense chocolate-like anthocyanin. Inside is solid yellow flesh with many small seed chambers. Dense texture, very juicy, melting and tasty. Top marks for appearance!
