ZAILIYSKIY ALATAU YELLOW. This variety immediately attracts attention with its vigor, high productivity, and truly outstanding flavor. The plants are indeterminate, strong, and powerful, easily reaching 2 meters or more. They grow actively and produce a stable, abundant harvest throughout the entire season, maintaining productivity even at the end of the growing cycle. A mid-season variety, it forms clusters of 3-4 large fruits weighing 150-300 grams each. The fruits are highly attractive: an elongated shape with a distinctive sharp, extended “nose” makes them easily recognizable and very decorative. The main highlight of this variety is its flavor. The tomatoes are exceptionally sweet and rich, with a pronounced tomato aroma and almost no acidity.
The flesh is dense, meaty, and buttery in texture, without any watery consistency. It is rightfully considered one of the best-tasting yellow tomatoes. The fruits have an excellent market appearance: smooth, brightly colored, firm, free from cracking and green shoulders. Their good keeping quality and transportability make this variety suitable both for home gardens and commercial production. The variety was bred by Vitaliy Gennadiyovich Alifirov. Interestingly, the yellow and red forms are completely identical in all characteristics — yield, fruit shape, and taste — differing only in color.
