ZLATEN MEDAL (GOLDEN MEDAL). A mid-season sweet pepper variety of Bulgarian origin, suitable for growing in open ground and greenhouses. The plant is compact, about 50 cm tall, easy to care for, and consistently produces a harvest. The fruits are large, weighing up to 300 g, predominantly cube-shaped, sometimes slightly elongated, up to 16-22 cm long.
At technical ripeness, the color is light green; when fully ripe, it becomes yellow-orange. The walls are of medium thickness, the flesh is juicy, sweetish, with a pleasant taste and firm skin. The variety is valued for its large fruit size, good flavor, and versatility — suitable for fresh consumption and processing.
