ABRAHAM GREEN. An original green-fruited variety with a pronounced taste and interesting origin story. The variety was bred and stabilized in the USA by breeder Millard Murdock, which in itself is a mark of quality for collectors of rare tomatoes. The plant is tall, mid-season, reaching up to 1.2 m in open ground. The bush is powerful, well-leafed, and consistently forms a yield with standard agricultural practices. As it ripens, the skin takes on a greenish-yellow hue, but when cut, the flesh remains bright lime-green, very juicy and attractive.
The fruits are round, slightly flattened at the poles, weighing 150-300 g. The consistency is dense, meaty, with a pleasant "crispness." Taste is one of the main advantages of the variety: fresh, rich, harmonious, with the characteristic sweetness of green-fruited tomatoes and light fruity notes. Excellent for fresh salads, slicing, tastings, and gourmet cuisine. An interesting fact: this variety has a "relative" — Abraham Brown, a chocolate-brown form with similar characteristics, making this line especially attractive to collectors.
