ANASTASIA. A mid-season variety that combines high yields, excellent flavor, and versatility. Approximately 120–130 days pass from emergence to the technical maturity of the fruits. The plants form sturdy standard bushes reaching 70–80 cm in height, producing a large number of fruit sets. This variety is suitable for growing both outdoors and in greenhouses.
The fruits have an elongated, conical shape and develop a rich, dark red color when ripe. They measure approximately 12–15 cm in length and weigh an average of 200–250 g. The flesh is thick, juicy, and crisp, with a pleasant sweet flavor. The 7–9 mm thick walls give the fruits a wonderfully fleshy texture and make them especially appealing.
The harvest is suitable for a wide range of culinary uses. The peppers can be eaten fresh, added to salads, used in hot dishes, stuffed, or preserved at home. After harvesting, the fruits store well and withstand transportation, making this variety suitable not only for home use but also for commercial sale. The variety is also characterized by high disease resistance.
Seeds for seedlings are sown from February in individual containers. Young plants are transplanted to their permanent growing location in late May or June, depending on weather conditions. For healthy growth, the bushes require regular watering and feeding with complete mineral fertilizers.
