BIG YELLOW SIMPSON. A spectacular mid-season variety of large-fruited tomato, valued for its impressive size, rich coloration, and excellent flavor. A true find for lovers of fleshy salad tomatoes. The plant is of medium height, powerful, well-balanced, with steady growth and stable fruiting. The variety is mid-season and suitable for cultivation in open ground and greenhouses. The fruits are very large, flat-round in shape, with pronounced ribbing, weighing 400-800 g, with individual specimens exceeding the stated weight under good cultivation practices.
The fruit color is a deep, saturated orange-yellow, very bright and appetizing. The flesh is thick-walled, meaty, juicy, with a minimal number of seeds. The consistency is dense, "beefsteak" type. The flavor is excellent, richly sweet, soft, without sharp acidity, with a rich tomato aroma. The variety is intended for salads: it is ideal for fresh consumption, slicing, salads, sandwiches, and summer dishes.
