BLACK PYRAMID. A mid-season tomato variety with compact bushes about 0.8 meters tall. The fruits are shaped like small purple hearts, usually 3-4 fruits per cluster, each weighing 110-130 g. Yield is moderate. The shape is broad-heart, flawless. The flesh is chocolate-colored, walls are thin, seed cavities are medium-sized. The taste is rich, sweet and sour, and very juicy. Semi-determinate plant type (height up to 110 cm outdoors, up to 130 cm. in a greenhouse).
The fruits are elongated, heart-shaped, with an unusual burgundy-brown color, sometimes with small “shoulders.” They look attractive and have excellent flavor. The flesh is dense and aromatic with a harmonious blend of sweetness and a slight tang. Very tasty fresh — in salads, slices, and vegetable smoothies. Ideal for winter preparations: juices, ketchup, pasta, sauces, and also for pickling in pieces. Perfect for processing.
