BLACK SHADOW. This is a tall, mid-season variety with moderate yield. The bushes are covered with large fruits of a unique pink-black shade and extraordinary taste. The color and texture of the fruits resemble the Black Pineapple variety. The flavor is very pleasant — sweet and fruity. The variety performs excellently in all aspects, with a vivid anthocyanin expression. The bush is strong, reaching 1.7 meters in open ground. Each cluster produces 4-5 fruits weighing 120-150 grams, with high yield.
The fruit shape is round-flattened. The main color is red-orange with stripes. Black streaks of intense anthocyanin run from the base down across the surface. Inside, the flesh is red and buttery, with medium-sized seed cavities. The fruit walls are of medium thickness, the flesh is tender, melting, and fantastically sweet!
