BLUE JELLIES. A collector's variety bred by Jose Antuan (Liège, Belgium), which combines striking anthocyanin coloration and expressive dessert flavor. A mid-season, tall (indeterminate) tomato with powerful, strong plants requiring staking and training for high yield. The color is unusual and very decorative: a yellow-orange base with pink moiré and dark anthocyanin shoulders, which become more intense in the sun and take on a distinct bluish-purple hue. The fruits are flat-round in shape, weighing 100-180 (up to 200) g.
The variety is especially beautiful at full ripeness. The flesh is orange with pink inclusions, juicy, with a "marmalade" texture, sweet and aromatic. The taste is rich, fruity, of a dessert type. It is recommended not to overripe the fruits on the bush to maintain their optimal density and flavor brightness. The variety is valued for its combination of unusual coloration, sweetness, and aesthetic appeal when sliced. Ideal for fresh salads, sandwiches, and serving in slices. High yield and expressive appearance make it an excellent choice.
