BRANDYWINE APRICOT, USA. Indeterminate, mid-season, very productive variety with strong potato leaves. Plants are tall and not overly dense, with medium-thick stems, and not many of them. As of July 15, plant height was 180–190 cm. During the season, the first fruits began ripening on July 13. All fruits are large and beautiful. Some fruits may show green stripes around the stem.
This is a characteristic of the variety, does not affect taste, and these stripes disappear when fully ripe. Taste and yield: 5+ out of 5. Deep orange, apricot-like flesh, all meat. Aroma is very pleasant and fruity. The taste is rich, sweet, excellent, amazing, with a balanced acidity. Juicy, meaty fruits hold their shape well and don’t sag under their weight during storage.
