BULL MAMMOTH MINUSINSK. One of the finest large-fruited Minusinsk varieties, combining early maturity, giant fruits, and outstanding classic tomato flavor. An early-ripening indeterminate variety. In open ground, it develops a vigorous plant up to 2 m (6.6 ft) tall with thick stems and dense foliage. The plant easily supports its large fruits, although the heavy trusses are best tied for additional support. This variety is deservedly regarded as one of the highlights of the Minusinsk collection thanks to its high productivity, reliable fruit set, and exceptional flavor.
Each truss produces 4-5 tomatoes. The fruits are exceptionally large, heart-shaped, sometimes with a long pointed tip or slight ribbing. Their color is a rich deep red without green shoulders, even when fully ripe. The tomatoes have excellent market appeal and consistently large size. The flesh is dense, meaty, juicy, with very small seed cavities and very few seeds. Most of the fruit consists of tender, sweet flesh.
FLAVOR
The flavor is rich, harmonious, and classically tomato-like. Natural sweetness is perfectly balanced by a light spicy acidity, creating a bold tomato flavor with an intense aroma. The flesh is juicy, tender, and leaves a long, pleasant finish. The fruits are excellent for fresh salads, sliced platters, juices, and home processing. Bull Mammoth Minusinsk is an outstanding large-fruited variety combining early maturity, abundant harvests, giant attractive fruits, and the authentic rich flavor of traditional Minusinsk tomatoes.
