CARAMEL (KARAMEL). A mid-season sweet pepper variety with a rich and unusual fruit color. It is distinguished by excellent fruit set and stable yield, especially in the second half of the season (about 90 days to maturity). Suitable for growing in open ground, greenhouses, as well as in containers and pots due to its compact habit. The fruits weigh 120-180 g, are cube-conical in shape, sometimes slightly elongated and ribbed, uniform and smooth.
At technical ripeness, they are dark green; when fully ripe, they acquire a chocolate-brown color with caramel hues. The flesh is thick-walled (about 7 mm), dense, and juicy. The taste is pleasant, sweet, without spiciness, with a mild aroma. The plant is vigorous, with well-developed foliage, produces an abundant harvest, and yields high-quality fruits with good marketability.
