CHOCOLATE GIANT EMERALD. A high-yielding, mid-season variety of sweet pepper. The plants are compact, 60-70 cm tall, with strong stems and dense foliage. The fruits are highly decorative and very attractive in appearance. At the technical ripeness stage, they are rich emerald-green, while at biological maturity they turn into an unusual dark-chocolate shade, making them striking both in the garden and in culinary dishes. The fruits are cuboid in shape, sometimes slightly elongated.
They are very large: the average weight ranges from 120 to 300 g, with some reaching up to 400 g. The flesh is dense and meaty, with a wall thickness of 6-8 mm, giving the peppers juiciness and versatility. The variety’s special value lies in its unique taste and aroma: the peppers have a subtle spicy note and a characteristic chocolate-spicy fragrance combined with a pleasant sweetness. Suitable for fresh consumption, baking, stuffing, and preserving.
