OXHEART (CORAZON DE BUEY), Spain. This is an indeterminate variety: in open ground, the plants reach up to 1.8 meters tall, and in greenhouses, they easily grow to 2-2.5 meters. The bushes are very vigorous and well-leafed, showing exceptional disease resistance, which makes this variety an excellent choice even in years with unfavorable weather. It is also remarkably productive, setting many fruits, most of which weigh over 300 grams.
The tomatoes are large and pear-shaped, weighing on average from 200 to 500 grams. They are crack-resistant, hold their shape well, and keep their marketable appearance for a long time. The flesh is meaty, dense, thick-walled, and low in juice, making them perfect for salads, sauces, and baked dishes. The flavor is very sweet, rich, and full of pleasant tomato aroma, without excessive acidity.
This is one of the earliest and most outstanding varieties in our collection, consistently pleasing with its stability, beauty, and flavor. Considering taste, yield, resilience, and visual appeal, we confidently give this variety a top rating of 5+. The seeds were purchased in Belgium, and the variety originates from Spain — the land of sun and delicious tomatoes!
