DARK ANTHO. An original author's tomato variety from the USA, created by the famous breeder Tom Wagner, known for his unusual anthocyanin lines. The plant is medium-sized, mid-season, forms compact but very sturdy bushes about 1.2 meters tall. The stems are thick, powerful, hold the yield load well, and look stocky yet "muscular." The variety is suitable for both open ground and greenhouses. The fruits look truly exotic: with dark, almost black "shoulders" of indigo color and a main coloration ranging from yellow-green to purple-blue-black. Note, the more sun — the richer the anthocyanin hue.
Fruit weight is usually 50-100 g, the shape is most often round, neat, and marketable. The flesh is juicy, dense, completely green inside, making the variety especially unusual. The consistency is firm, without wateriness. The taste is harmonious, fresh, with a light lemon acidity and pleasant sweetness, complemented by a subtle aroma. Excellent for fresh consumption, salads, tasting collections, and as a "highlight" in the assortment of rare varieties. An amazingly beautiful tomato, one of the brightest in this category — we recommend it.
