DIXIE GOLDEN GIANT. An American heirloom tomato variety. A remarkable tomato that rightfully holds a special place among large-fruited types. It is a mid-season, indeterminate variety, known for its high productivity and exceptional flavor. In open ground, plants can grow up to 1.8 meters tall, forming strong, vigorous bushes that require staking and pruning.
The main pride of the variety is its enormous, meaty fruits weighing between 300 and 650 grams, with some reaching over 700 grams. The tomatoes have an attractive, round-heart shape and a rich pink-raspberry color. The flesh is dense and juicy, with a pronounced sweet, fruity taste, virtually no acidity, and delicate honey notes. Perfect for fresh eating, salads, and slicing.
This is a highly productive variety — under good growing conditions, it yields a generous and prolonged harvest. Moreover, the fruits ripen earlier than most other large-fruited varieties.
