DONKEY EARS. A tasty mid-season tomato variety with unusual pink fruits. The tomatoes are strongly elongated, plum-pepper shaped, slightly flattened on the sides, and have a characteristic pointed tip. Thanks to their unusual shape, the fruits really do resemble donkey ears.
The tomatoes are large, weighing approximately 200–300 g and reaching up to 15 cm in length. They grow in clusters of 4–6 fruits and develop a beautiful marbled pink color when ripe. The skin is delicate and not too thick, making the fruits pleasant to eat fresh.
The flesh is sugary, juicy, and very sweet, while retaining its structure well when sliced. These tomatoes are excellent for salads, vegetable slices, and fresh appetizers, where their rich flavor can be fully appreciated. With good care, the yield can reach about 10 kg per plant.
The variety is well suited for greenhouse cultivation. The plants need regular watering, feeding, and timely care throughout the growing and fruiting period. With their large, beautiful, and delicious fruits, this variety is an excellent choice for lovers of pink tomatoes with an unusual shape.
