DWARF GALEN'S YELLOW. A new mid-season variety from the Dwarf Tomato Project, developed by Robin Bort in collaboration with her son Galen, after whom the variety was named. It combines a compact plant, abundant yields, and beautiful golden-yellow fruits with a rich dessert flavor. The plant is determinate, compact, sturdy, and well-balanced. In open ground it reaches about 1.2 m (4 ft) in height. The stems are thick and strong, easily supporting heavy crops. Side shoots develop slowly, so the plant requires very little pruning or training. The flesh is juicy, tender, meaty, and contains relatively few seeds.

A distinctive feature of this variety is its dense, rugose dark-green foliage, which remains healthy and ornamental until the end of the season, even after most other varieties have already lost their leaves. The fruits are flattened-round, uniform, and display a beautiful golden-yellow color with a warm golden hue. Their average weight ranges from 50-100 g, making them larger than traditional cherry tomatoes while remaining an ideal size for fresh eating.
