EMERALD GIANT. A large-fruited sweet pepper variety distinguished by a vigorous plant and impressively large fruits. The bush grows to approximately 1 meter in height and looks very attractive during the fruiting period. The peppers develop large and fleshy, making the harvest especially impressive. This variety will appeal to those who enjoy large, thick-walled peppers.
The fruits have a characteristic blocky shape and are deep dark green at the beginning of ripening. As they mature, their color gradually changes and the peppers turn red. Individual fruits can reach about 700 g in weight. The walls are very thick, reaching up to 1.5 cm. Thanks to this structure, the fruits are firm, juicy and fleshy.
The large peppers are excellent for fresh consumption and for preparing a variety of dishes. They can be added to salads, vegetable platters and homemade recipes. Their thick walls make the fruits especially suitable for stuffing, baking and stewing. Fully ripened red peppers can also be used for homemade preserves.
