FIRE TURBAN. A new signature variety bred by Sofia Saakova, which was at the F7 stabilization stage in 2025. One of the most spectacular tomato varieties of recent years, combining extraordinary coloration, an elegant truffle-shaped form, and an exceptionally sweet fruity flavor. Although highly stable, a few plants may still show slight genetic variation. A mid-season indeterminate variety. In open ground, plants reach about 1.8 m (5.9 ft) in height, producing strong stems and large trusses bearing 6–7 fruits. Average fruit weight is 250–300 g.
The variety is distinguished by its high productivity and concentrated fruit set. The fruits have an attractive truffle shape with broad shoulders. Their base color is bright golden-orange covered with a rich raspberry blush, while the shoulders are decorated with a dense anthocyanin overlay. The tomatoes have outstanding visual appeal both on the vine and when sliced. The flesh is dense, buttery, very juicy, with small seed cavities and very few seeds. A rich fruity aroma is noticeable as soon as the fruits are cut.
FLAVOR
The flavor is exceptionally sweet, harmonious, and almost completely free of acidity. The tender flesh literally melts in your mouth, leaving a long honey-fruit aftertaste. It is one of the sweetest varieties in Sofia Saakova's collection. The fruits are ideal for fresh eating, salads, tastings, and elegant vegetable platters.
