GARY’S BEAUTY. A mid-season tomato that captivates with its beauty and outstanding taste. The history of the variety gives it special value: the seeds were obtained by Jim Wyant in 2017 from Gary Millwood, and the variety is named after Gary, preserving the memory of its creator. The plant is indeterminate, with regular foliage, forms a sturdy, powerful bush, and produces abundant yields of large fruits. The fruits are beautiful flat-round, deep pink. This tomato impresses not only with its size but also with an exquisite taste characteristic of heirloom classic varieties. The variety is large-fruited, with an average tomato weight of 300-400g.

As with all similar varieties, fruit size directly depends on care, shaping, and favorable weather: under ideal growing conditions (timely feeding, forming into 1-2 stems, plenty of sun and warmth) it is possible to obtain large "beauties" weighing up to 1 kg. The tomatoes are uniform throughout the height of the bush, and it sometimes happens that the fruits on the last clusters are much larger than on the first ones. The flesh is meaty, sweet, aromatic, with a characteristic "homegrown" richness, which makes this variety ideal for fresh consumption, slicing, salads, and preservation. The taste is excellent - rich tomato with a predominance of sweetness.

The variety is undemanding, responds well to organic feeding, and is not prone to fruit cracking. The only way it showed its "character" was that in our growing conditions it preferred greenhouse conditions: in open ground, it took a long time to build up green mass, and the tomatoes turned out much smaller. After harvesting, the tomatoes ripen "without haste," do not lose firmness for a month. Of course, sugar loss during storage is unavoidable, but the taste remains good. An ideal choice for collectors, lovers of large tomatoes, and connoisseurs of the true taste of classic pink tomatoes.
