GLADIATOR. A mid-season, high-yielding sweet pepper variety of Dutch breeding, characterized by reliability and resistance to a range of diseases. Suitable for growing in open ground and greenhouses, it forms vigorous plants with a stable harvest. The fruits are large, fleshy, truncated-pyramidal in shape, weighing up to 350 g. The walls are very thick — up to 13 mm, making them especially valuable for cooking.
At technical ripeness, the fruits are green; at biological ripeness, they acquire a bright yellow color. The flesh is juicy, dense, aromatic, and sweet, with an excellent taste. The fruits are well-suited for fresh consumption, stuffing, and processing, and are distinguished by high marketability and good shelf life.
