GODFATHER. An early sweet pepper variety of Italian origin. The plant is compact, up to 80 cm tall, well-foliated, which protects the fruits from sunscald. It is characterized by high yield, stability, and disease resistance, suitable for growing in open ground and greenhouses. The fruits are large, weighing 200-250 g, attractive, and uniform.
During ripening, they change color from green to a rich dark red. The flesh is tender, juicy, with medium-thick walls. The taste is very sweet, harmonious, with a pleasant aroma; the skin is also sweet. The variety is excellent for fresh consumption, salads, and home cooking.
