GREEN PEAR. A mid-to-late season, indeterminate, high-yield tomato variety. As the fruits ripen, their skin takes on a rich green color with golden-bronze highlights. The tomatoes are fleshy, sweet, with an intense aroma and a pronounced flavor that significantly surpasses most other pear-shaped varieties. Plants reach up to 1.8 m. in height.
A rare and unique cultivar originating in the USA, developed by the American breeding company Terroir Seeds in 2009. The fruits have a dense, pear-like shape, weighing approximately 30 grams. Immature fruits have green skin, which turns amber as they ripen, while the shoulders remain green.
The flesh is juicy yet firm, with a distinctive density. The taste is rich, deep, and complex. This variety is disease-resistant, vigorous, with regular foliage and continuous growth throughout the season (indeterminate type). It stores well after harvest. Its elegant shape adds originality to any dish.
