GREEN RIPPER. A new author's variety obtained by crossing Wild Tiger and Danube. This is a tall, mid-season tomato with bright decorative coloring and expressive flavor. The plants are vigorous, indeterminate, form stable clusters, and are distinguished by good yield. Fruits weigh 20-30 g, are round or slightly elongated, of a greenish-bronze hue with red patterns and streaks. The coloring looks very unusual and impressive, especially at full ripeness when the contrast becomes more pronounced. The flesh is dense, juicy, very sweet, with a harmonious and rich flavor.
Despite the small size of the fruits, the taste qualities are bright and memorable, making the variety an excellent choice for fresh consumption and garnishing dishes. The name "Ripper" can have different meanings — from "ripper" or "cutter" to colloquial "awesome," "top-notch." What exactly the originator meant remains unknown, so the most correct approach is to use the original sound — Green Ripper.
