SKY CONQUEROR, SKY RIDER (HIMMELSSTURMER). A legendary German variety whose name translates as "Sky Conqueror." It is considered one of the tallest tomato varieties in the world and a true treasure for gardeners looking to grow something extraordinary. Developed by crossing De Barao and San Marzano, it inherited outstanding productivity, excellent vigor, and superior fruit quality. A mid-early indeterminate variety with unlimited growth. Under favorable conditions, plants can reach an impressive 4-6 m in height, requiring a very tall support, trellis, or pergola.
The plants produce long, slender stems and very few side shoots, making them easy to grow with two main stems. They are highly productive and perform well even under less favorable conditions. Fruits are elongated, bottle-shaped, bright red, smooth, and uniform, weighing 70-90 g. They are borne in simple or semi-compound trusses. The fruits ripen completely without green shoulders, transport well, and maintain their excellent appearance for a long time. The flesh is dense, meaty, moderately juicy, and contains few seeds. Thanks to their firm texture, the fruits are excellent for canning and processing.
FLAVOR
The flavor is rich and classically tomato-like, with pleasant natural sweetness and a delicate aroma. The firm flesh holds its shape well, making the fruits equally suitable for fresh eating and cooking. One of the world's most unique tomato varieties, remarkable not only for its record-breaking height but also for its enormous productivity, beautiful uniform fruits, and excellent flavor. An ideal choice for collectors and lovers of unusual tomatoes.
