HUNGARIAN TALL – ALTAI. A mid-season tall variety for open ground and greenhouses. In open ground, the plant height reaches about 1.8 m. The bush is vigorous, requiring staking and training. It is characterized by good yield and stable fruit set. The fruits weigh 150-200 g, are red in color, elongated in shape with a pronounced cone at the tip. The tomatoes are dense, meaty, with a strong skin, and retain their shape well during transportation and processing. The flesh is rich red, moderately juicy, with a dense structure. The taste is balanced, rich, with pleasant sweetness and moderate acidity. The variety is of universal purpose, suitable for fresh consumption, processing, making sauces, and whole-fruit canning.
