INDIANA BALTIMORE. An old family heirloom from the 1930s in the USA, this tomato variety is a remarkable example of traditional plant breeding. It is mid-season, determinate, and extremely productive, showing consistently excellent results even in open ground. Compact yet strong bushes reach up to 60 cm in height, making the variety well-suited for small gardens. It has proven to be one of the most productive among low-growing varieties: the plants are literally covered with fruits. The tomatoes are large for a dwarf variety — weighing up to 200 g, round-flat in shape, meaty and dense.
Importantly, they lack the typical green spot near the stem and have an excellent commercial appearance. Perfect for fresh use and preserving. Taste qualities were rated 4.5 out of 5 — one of the highest scores for determinate varieties in the 2021 season. The flavor is rich, well-balanced, with a pleasant acidity and a bright tomato aroma. This variety is ideal for those who seek a combination of compact growth, high yield, and an excellent old-fashioned taste.
