GIANT HEART OF TISMANA (INIMI GIANT DE TISMANA). This tomato is an old, well-known Romanian heirloom variety that has been rediscovered and revived due to its exceptional flavor and market value. The plant is tall, indeterminate, growing to a height of 1.5-1.8 meters, and requires staking and pruning. It is mid-season, with fruits ripening about 110-115 days after germination. Fruits are large, weighing between 300 and 600 grams, with a rich pink color and a slight raspberry hue. The shape is a classic heart, with smooth, rounded lines. The flesh is dense, oily, and meaty, with minimal seeds and juice.
Its high dry matter content makes it especially valuable for making thick tomato sauces, pastes, juices, as well as for fresh consumption and salads.
